Twenty-six states have plans for teachers to get their COVID shots. PA isn’t one of them

On Friday, Pennsylvania officials made it clear that they will not move teachers to the 1A vaccination group despite a request from Pennsylvania’s largest teachers’ union and one from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention saying it would “strongly encourage states to prioritize teachers and other school staff.”
