The ability of Pennsylvania schools to deliver what experts call an increased demand for mental health services due to the COVID-19 pandemic was examined during a recent joint state House committee hearing. Officials from the state Education Department and Department of Human Services, school principals, psychologists and mental health service providers testified before the Education and Human Services committees last week.
