PDE’s Budget Update and Pension Reform Videoconferences scheduled for 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014, are being postponed until later this month.

Governor Corbett continues to work with the General Assembly on pension reform as well as the budget for the 2014-15 fiscal year.

Governor Corbett has stated that pension reform is a significant issue that must be addressed before enacting a budget for next year.

As soon as more information is available, Acting Secretary Dumaresq will schedule webinars to provide an update.
