Pittsburgh-area school districts react to $1.1 billion education funding boost in state budget

Pennsylvania lawmakers bolstered K-12 funding by $1.1 billion in the 2024-25 budget, seemingly a response to last year’s court ruling deeming the state’s education funding system unconstitutional. But advocates say more work still needs to be done.
