Pine-Richland Students File Suit Against District Over Transgender Bathroom Policy

Three transgender students today filed a federal discrimination lawsuit against the Pine-Richland SD (Allegheny Co.) for implementing a new “sex-specific” protocol that requires transgender students to use restrooms that match the sex they were assigned at birth or, as an alternative, to use a unisex bathroom or the private bathroom in the nurse’s office.
