PASA 1 Percent Cap Selection Webinars Via Go To Meeting
June 10, 2013
The Local Education Agencies (LEA) who exceeded the one percent cap of proficient and advanced Pennsylvania Alternate System of Assessment (PASA) scores will have the opportunity to determine which student’s proficient scores will be counted as proficient and which will be counted as not proficient for Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) calculations. The PASA 1 percent cap selection window will be available July 8 -10, 2013, at https://pa.drcedirect.com. In preparation for the opening of this important window, Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) will provide online training to assist LEAs in completing selections.
In order to ensure LEAs have an opportunity to participate, PDE will be offering the same online session at multiple dates and times (see list below). The presentations will be broadcast via “Go to Meeting.” To register, go to the link provided for each session below. Each session has a very specific associated link. Be sure to use the link associated with the session in which you will participate.
