New guidelines issued Wednesday night through the state department of education website, combined with the increasing likelihood of extended closures and a bill approved by legislators Wednesday requiring districts to post continuity of education plans to their websites, spurred a flurry of new activity by school districts this week to start teaching kids remotely.
