NASSP has posted a new Action Alert on the Principals Legislative Action Center (PLAC) regarding its ESEA reauthorization priorities for conference committee. Members will be receiving a message from NASSP/NAESP encouraging you to contact your legislators. With a long list of legislative work slated for the Fall, now is the time to get our message across to Capitol Hill to ensure that principals views are taken into consideration as the ESEA reauthorization process moves forward.

For the July Action Alert regarding the Every Child Achieves Act (S. 1177), NASSP had 222 people send a total of 460 messages. While this was an encouraging result considering the short turnaround and the fact that many principals were on summer vacation, our goal for this Action Alert is to have more than 1,000 people send messages.
