To recognize the significant role assistant principals (APs) play in the overall academic achievement of students, NAESP celebrates National Assistant Principals Week, April 6-10, 2020.

To properly celebrate assistant principals and highlight their leadership in both schools and communities, several resources and activities are planned.

• Join the APs Rising mailing list, a national professional learning community for assistant principals. This week will feature a special weeklong discussion, “Assistant Principals and the Keys to Leadership.”
• Register now for an Assistant Principal webinar, “Special Education Do’s And Don’ts,” on Tuesday, April 7 at 3 p.m. ET.
• Use sample language and graphics to celebrate #APWeek20 with your friends and colleagues on Twitter and Facebook.
• Check out resources highlighting best practices from assistant principals, as well as how principals can best support their APs.
