Gov. Tom Wolf says new state budget will ‘move Pennsylvania forward’

Gov. Tom Wolf said the Pennsylvania’s $40.8 billion state budget that the General Assembly passed on Friday to keep state government operating through June 30, 2022, is a “good budget.” The 2021-22 budget calls for no increase in individual or business taxes. But that wasn’t a point the governor touted in a Tuesday morning interview on KDKA Radio in Pittsburgh. Instead, he focused on the signature issue of his administration: education funding.
