Coronavirus expected to rip a huge hole in local school district budgets

The Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials predicts districts statewide will see a shortfall of as much as $1 billion in local revenue. This also comes as charter school payments remain the same. The PASBO study shows a $250-million increase to charter schools and a $300-million increase in special education payments.
