2019 Standards Aligned System Institute: Bridging the Skills Gap…A Pathway to Employability

The Pennsylvania Department of Education’s 2019 SAS Institute, Bridging the Skills Gap…A Pathway to Employability, will be held December 8 10, 2019, with optional half-day sessions on December 11. An Act 45 program will commence on Sunday afternoon. The location is the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center.  

Keynote Brian Busteed will kick off this year’s Institute. As an educational entrepreneur, speaker, writer, and university trustee, Busteed’s mission is focused on connecting education to jobs and job creation and to promote a paradigm shift from knowledge mastery to emotional engagement in education.

A draft agenda is available for review.  The planning committee is accepting proposals for presentations.  

Registration will open October 1 and may be accessed at the Northwest Tri-County website.
