Today, representatives from several education associations, including the Pennsylvania Princpipals Association, officially kicked off a new campaign focusing on public schools across Pennsylvania. The Success Starts Here campaign is a multi-year statewide effort to share the positive news about public education through advertising, web, social media, traditional media and word-of-mouth with the goal of raising understanding of the value of public education in Pennsylvania. Paul M. Healey, PA Principals Association executive director, spoke at the event.

Representatives from the following organizations were on hand at Central Dauphin East Middle School in Harrisburg, Pa., to announce the start of the campaign, preview a campaign video and use it as an opportunity to get the word out to school districts, Intermediate Units, career and tech centers, parents, taxpayers and community leaders:

• Pennsylvania Association of Intermediate Units
• Pennsylvania State Education Association
