The National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) and Prudential Financial are preparing to launch the 22^nd  annual Prudential Spirit of Community Awards for young people who have demonstrated outstanding community service over the past year. 

This unique youth recognition program, created by Prudential Financial in partnership with NASSP, honors middle level and high school students for making meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer service.  

The program gives schools an opportunity to reward and shine a spotlight on students who have distinguished themselves through volunteer activities — and an opportunity to call attention to the role that schools play in promoting community service. 

Applications for 2017 awards are now open to students in grades 5-12 who have volunteered in the past year. More information on this year’s program is included below. Click here to apply (an account is needed to register.)
