2016 PA Bullying Prevention/School Climate Improvement Survey
June 13, 2016
The Pennsylvania Department of Education, Office for Safe Schools is conducting a short survey on the topic of bullying prevention and school climate improvement. Over 1,200 of your colleagues participated in the 2012 survey, which provided the Office for Safe Schools with valuable data and input. The survey findings were utilized to better address school climate related needs by providing additional support and resources at the state, regional and local levels. The PA Bullying Prevention Consultation Line, the School Climate Leadership Initiative and bullying prevention professional development opportunities are among the many efforts made possible by your valuable input.
We are asking building-level leadership to complete the 5 minute, anonymous 2016 PA Bullying Prevention/School Climate Improvement Survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3NZ8V9J. If you are new to your building or have designated other building leaders to chair school climate efforts, please forward to the staff person in your building who can best speak to your efforts and identified needs.
The survey will be open until June 30, 2016 and the results will be posted at PDE Bullying Prevention. Please contact Mary Dolan, Bullying Prevention Consultant, PDE, Office for Safe Schools at c-mdolan@pa.gov with any questions.
