Dr. Paul M. Healey, PA Principals Association executive director-elect, attended the Pennsylvania Senate Education Committee hearing on Common Core held on Thursday, August 29, 2013.

The Senate Education Committee held on open hearing on the Common Core today presided over by Senators Folmer, Dinniman and Teplitz. Testimony was offered only by representatives from the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the State Board of Education. Acting Secretary of Education, Dr. Carolyn Dumaresq, provided answers to the senators’ questions.
